I've kept my notebooks from the last ten years or so. Actually think I have some from the year I was having my son (2006) so even longer back. But I'm starting to feel like I need to process them and move on. When I do flick back through them, there are so many little joys to be found there.

I did process a heap of mine from throughout my twenties (I'm just hitting 40 now) and took what I thought was important and destroyed the rest to lighten my load. I regret that now because what I thought was important has changed with time. I wish I had them all and kept more. What great reading material for the nursing home they would have been :-)

Yes, good point. But I don't feel like I want to keep carrying the weight of them with me forever, so I'm working on convincing my heart to let go.
